He is survived by: his wife Julie Thayer (Perrotti); his son Joe Thayer (Aleah) of Chestertown; his sister Ginger Martin (Duane) of Hartstown; his grandson Noah Thayer; his stepdaughters, Rachel, Theresa (Dave) and Roxie (Emily); and his niece Megan. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
