It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Belle Speck Taylor of Church Hill, Maryland, born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Speck and Isabelle Dorsey Speck; her grandson Britton S. Burgess; and her son-in-law D. Bruce Burgess. She is survived by: her former husband Joseph G. Taylor, Jr.; her husband Joe Taylor of Church Hill, MD; her children, Joseph G. Taylor, III (Patsy) of Church Hill, MD and Wendy T. Burgess (John C. Arrabal) of Church Hill, MD; her grandchildren, Joseph G. Taylor, IV (Katie), Riley J. Buckle and David Parks (Tracy); her sister Cheeri Ford (Tom); and her great grandchild Joseph G. Taylor V. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
