He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Hopkins Sr. and Mary Plummer Larrimore; his wife Betty Lou McCann; his son Daniel; his son-in-law Howard Merritt of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his brother-in-law Rogers Smith of Chestertown, MD; and his sister Bette L. Smith. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
