It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben-Ami Spaisman (Clarksburg, Maryland), who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josek Szpajzman and Zypora Spaisman. He is survived by: his close friend Michelle Lisk Walker of Washington, DC; his daughter Erica; his son-in-law Hobbs Allison of Austin, TX; his son Elliot; his daughter-in-law Terra Adler Spaisman of Bethesda, MD; his granddaughters, Lilly Jayne Allison, Paige Allison, Sydney Spaisman and Sloan Spaisman; his cousin Gilda Zuckerman Shani (Jacob Shani); his daughter Brittany Walker; and his son-in-law Brad Mahoney.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ben's name to the Mathematical Association of America (MAA.org (http://maa.org)) and/or (mightycause.com/story/Maaben).
