He is survived by: his brothers, Paul and Doug; his wife Patricia Higgs; his children, Erica Bateman (Kyle), Charles Higgs III (Nick Bowden), Christopher Higgs, Amanda Kopp (Shawn), Camille Higgs and Matthew Higgs; and his grandchild Nylah Kopp.
