She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pagodaarachchi and D. A. Perera; and her brothers, Indrasena, Amarasena and Chandrasena.

She is survived by: her husband G. A. Wijetunge; her daughters, Radhika (Vipuli) and Anjali; her sons-in-law, Kishan Amarasekera and Avantha Tennekoon; her grandchildren, Bodhi, Anik and Anissa; and her sisters, Premalatha Seneviratne, Jayalatha Ganepola and Ramya Berugoda.
