She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sarah Newill and Frederic Newill; her husband Captain Joseph Y. Sanderson; her daughter Elizabeth Ann McConaghy-Roel; her son-in-law Ronald Roel; her grandsons, James E. Roel of Glen Cove, NY and Thomas R. Roel of Glen Cove, NY; and her sons, Edward James McConaghy IV of Nicholson, PA and Gary N. McConaghy. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
