He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Botterman Shepard of Sandtown, DE and Joni Howe of New York; his grandchildren, RJ Shepard and Allie Howe; his sister Karen Russum (Ralph) of Crumpton, MD; his niece Julie Smith (Robert) of Crumpton, MD; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abby, Wyatt Russum, Emily and Nate Smith.
