Donald Leroy Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2018, at the age of 85, Donald Leroy Simmons (Cumberland, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Sanford R. Simmons; and his siblings, Woodrow Simmons, Arno Simmons, Wilson "Willie" Simmons, Ruby Pratt of Beatrice Lewis, Burnell Turner and Doris Wilt.
He is survived by: his parent Elsie Simmons (Pratt); his children, Bryan Leatherman (Sheri) and Debbie Snyder (Earl); his siblings, Lloyd Simmons (Pat), Ramona Boswell of Moorefield, WV and Kay Hite of Cumberland, MD; his grandchildren, Ashley Snyder and Amber Snyder; and his great grandchild Landon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Fort Cumberland Post #13 American Legion, Post Office Box #1740, Cumberland, MD 21501-1740.
