With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lucius Garland (Cumberland, Maryland), who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucius Garland and Helen Garland (Stallings); his siblings, Wilbur, Ralph, Alfred, Alvin, Melvin, Robert Garland, Pearl Snider, Nola Helmstetter, Nina Shaw and Shirley Heare; and his pet Sadie.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Garland; his children, Grant Garland, Wendy Goss (Mike), Robyn Garland, Amy Moyer (Sean) and Jimmy Garland; his grandchildren, Megan, Jillian, Michael Goss, Zachary, Lauryn Moyer, Cameron, Jadeyn and Samuel Garland; his siblings, Lee Garland and Reba Nelson; his mother-in-law Debra Hamilton; his brother-in-law Fred Heare; and his pet Buddy.
