It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonia Jean Beatrice Lewis of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Lee Lewis; her stepfather Robert Early Jr.; and her sister Nicole Early. She is survived by: her mother Alice M. Early (Campbell); her children, Kiera Smith and Kieshon Britton; her grandchildren, Kiemarion, Kiemyla, Raiquon, Kamron, Kenyen and Malasia; her siblings, Lawrence Lewis Jr. (Jen), Kari Early and Robin Brooks (Ray); her niece Marissa Siefers (Sonia); her great-nephews, Treyson and Markhi; her siblings' children, Jazmyne, Teneya, Larrkel, Haylee, Azriel, Zion, Zaiden and Pharoah; and her cousins, Danny and Krystal.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Solid Rock Independent Baptist Church (12510 Corrigan Dr, Corriganville, MD 21524). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, MD 21502, to help assist the family with funeral expenses.
