He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Lee Davis, Sr. and Augurette Butler; and his brothers, George Davis and Robert Davis. He is survived by : his wife Eleanor Davis of Denton; his children, Valerie Miller (Bill) of Denton, Charles Lee Davis III (Carol) and William Davis of Denton; his brother William Taylor (Carmen) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, James Miller, Christine Westberg (Jeremy) and Kathleen Foster (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Hayden and Amelia; and his pet Lola. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family suggests sending memorial donations in Charlie's memory to the Caroline County Humane Society, 407 Belle Road, Ridgely, MD 21660.
