He was predeceased by: his parent William Thomas Layton. He is survived by: his parent Lily Mae Jenkins Layton; his wife Pauline Layton (Polly) of Denton; his sons, Allen Layton Jr. (Debbie) of Denton, Jerry Lee Layton (Barbara) of Marydel and Jeffery Layton (Tammy Willis) of Denton; and his grandchildren, Brian, Jonathan, Lee, Josh, Jodi, Melissa, Brandy Givens and Alex Willis.
