With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys P Murphy (Denton, Maryland), born in Bethlehem, Maryland, who passed away on September 21, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent William Wells; her husband Melvin Herbert Murphy; her sons, Wayne Murphy and Melvin "Bunky" Murphy; her daughter-in-law Eleanor Murphy; her siblings, Melvin Wells, Dorothy Roop and Mary Dukes; and her grandson Daniel Murphy.

She is survived by: her son Herbert Murphy (Anne) of Federalsburg; and her daughter-in-law Darleen Murphy of Denton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
