He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Meyer; his children, Nancy Agnew (Kevin) and Carl Meyer (Denise Bishop); his grandchildren, Charles Agnew, Margot Mooney and Bridget Mooney; and his sister Anna Mae Williams.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery (7401 German Hill Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222).
