He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lillian; and his children, Patricia Rudick (Richard), James L Collier (Dorothea), Denise Demback (Charles), Dennis Collier (Patricia), Darlene L Belt (late Gary) and Loid Collier (Tammy). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
