She was predeceased by : her parents, Major E. Hurley, Sr. and Pearl Henry Hurley; and her spouse Dorsey E. Barrow. She is survived by : her sister-in-law Beverly M. Hurley; her niece Lisa H. Coren; her son Alex; her nephews, Tim E. Hurley and Michael Adams (Cheryl); her great-niece Rebecca; and her goddaughter Dorothy Lee Simmons (Robert).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
