She was predeceased by: her husband Gale Cole; her son Bryan Higgs; her parents, George Long and Elizabeth Long; and her siblings, Lillian Williams, Elizabeth Reid, Eleanor Berry, Louise Sumler, Robert Long and Dora Childress.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Higgs, Bonnie Higgs, Becky Lammers, Barry Cole, Bruce Cole, David Cole, Virgal Cole, Mabel Lawson, Shirley Hale and Henry Cole. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
