She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kempski and Anna Widzgowski Kempski; her husband Gerald Garvin; and her siblings, Joseph Kempski, John Kempski, Ann Krajnik and Connie Klepacki-Bruxelles.
She is survived by: her daughter Maryellen Knorr (Ed, North East, MD); her stepdaughters, Beth Klimiuk and Faith Russo; and her grandchildren, Sarah Shutt, Matthew Knorr and Michael Knorr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
