Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Florine Sturgill of Elkton, Maryland, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 88, on February 16, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hobart McNabb and Iva McNabb; her husband Fred Sturgill; her sons, Pete Sturgill and Michael Sturgill; and her siblings, John, Harry, Carolyn, Gail and Robbie.

She is survived by : her children, Gary Sturgill (April) of Conowingo, MD, Linda Pugh (Gary) of Elkton, MD and Troy Sturgill of Elkton, MD; and her siblings, Leroy, Sally, Liz, Rose and Jacqueline. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
