He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Dvorak Mackie; his sons, Scott Mackie (Kate) of Elkton, MD and Todd Mackie (Kerry) of Elkton, MD; his grandchildren, Jordan Mackie McCullar of Davidson, NC, Logan Mackie of Elkton, MD, Ella Mackie of Elkton, MD and Paige Mackie of Elkton, MD; his stepgrandchildren, McKenzie Steagall of Raleigh, NC, Abigal Reinhold of Nashville, TN and Will Reinhold of Philadelphia, PA; his great grandchildren, Mason McCullar and Noah McCullar; and his sister Janee Mackie Larson of Wilmington, DE..

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (454 Bow St, Elkton, MD 21921).
