He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret A. "Peggy" Kirby; and his brother Philip Kirby. He is survived by: his children, Jim Kirby (Norine), John Kirby (Patti), Dave Kirby (Jan), Mike Kirby (Ann) and Kim Davis (Ron). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
