As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Russell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell E. Royal, Sr. and Lucy Spence Royal. He is survived by: his daughters, Gaylea Casagrande (Joseph Malone, Jr.) and Carol Smith (Christian); and his grandsons, Brian Smith and Daniel Smith (Abigail).
The military honors will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens (200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093).
