We bid farewell to Kathryn L. Petty of Essex, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Kathryn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Collins and Marguerite Oehm; and her sister Kathleen Krysiak. She is survived by: her husband Charles Petty; her daughters, Victoria Amend (Donald), Michelle Barna (Frank), Denise Lookabill (Dale) and Lisa Hobbs (Shay); her grandchildren, Donnie, Josh, Joseph, Brandon, Frank Jr., Daylan, Dylan, Sydney and Shay II; and her sister Agnes Brown. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex (300 Mace Ave, Essex, MD 21221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (10003 Bird River Rd, Middle River, MD 21220). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Faith Cemetery (5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206).
