Though Rose Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rose Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Manlio Chiabrera; her sons, Raymond, Anthony and Alexander Sokal; and her brother Gus. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex (300 Mace Ave, Essex, MD 21221). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clements Catholic Church (1212 Chesaco Ave, Rosedale, MD 21237). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery (4430 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206).
