With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Towers Fluharty of Federalsburg, Maryland, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank J Towers and Grace Lane Towers of Denton; her son Christopher Lee Fluharty; her siblings, Barbara Ellen Synder (Bob), Peggy Gray (Raymond) and John W. Towers; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth McNeal, Mildred Fluharty, Janice McNeal, Charles W. Fluharty and David Cummings.

She is survived by : her son Frank Curtis Fluharty Sr. (Valerie) of Federalsburg; her grandchildren, Robin Lynn Mitchell (Robert) of Seaford Delaware, Susan Beth Corbitt (Alan) of Hillsboro, Texas, Eric W. Simmons Sr. (Ashleigh), Amy Elizabeth Simmons-Hope (Chris), Lawrence E. Fluharty, Frank C. Fluharty Jr. (Samantha), Devin Nicole Corbitt, Kristen Amber Mitchell (Andrew) and David A. Corbitt (Ryleigh); and her great grandchildren, Eric William Simmons, Jr., Ryleigh Nicole Simmons, Emma Grace Simmons-Hope, Tucker Bryce Simmons, Everlee Lynn Hope, Braylynn Noelle Mitchell and Olivia Grace Corbitt.
