With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madona M. Benson of Flintstone, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Burgess and Edith Burgess; her husband Chester "Buck" Benson, Sr.; her daughter Sandra Kay Benson; and her siblings, Thelma Vanetta, Mildred Arnold and Harold Burgess.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Jean Allgeier (Donald Jr.) and Chester "Buddy" Benson (Betty); her grandchildren, James Allgeier (Cathy), Donald Allgeier III (Denise), Madona Bowles, Jody Miller, Brook Dignan (Matt), Pete Nelson (Leanne) and Kimberly Smith (John); her sister Jane McClay (Harold); her siblings-in-law, Jean Smith and Carl "Pug" Benson; and her friend Angela Mallow. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; 28 great great-grandchildren.
