He is survived by: his spouse Carol Zema Mathewson; his parents, Bernard Leroy Mathewson and Elsie Mathewson (Robinson); his children, Jamie Mathewson, Kyle Rhoderick, Sara Mathewson, Brian Mathewson II and Christopher Mathewson; his grandchildren, Hannah Rookstool and Thaddeus Mathewson (Twigg); his siblings, Eric Mathewson and Robert Mathewson (Connie); and his significant other Figaro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
