He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Myers and David Duvall Aldridge; his siblings, Doris Steinwedel and Richard Duvall Aldridge; his former wife Mary Sue Aldridge; his significant other Richard Zimmerman; his spouse Vivian Aldridge; his children, Anne Katherine "Kathy" Aldridge and David Frederick Aldridge; and his stepchildren, Clifford, Ann Wright of Boonsboro, Maryland, Gary, Sue Wright of Hagerstown, Barbara and John Macri of Nanjemoy. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
