He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Jody Hammond (Phil) of Ijamsville, Bob C. Tansey of Frederick, Carrie Ishee (Chris) of Sante Fe, NM, Michael Tansey, Tim Tansey (Lyn) of Colorado Springs and Polly Burgoon (Steve) of Jefferson; his sister Mary Devens of Blacksburg, VA; his sister-in-law Louisville K.; his brothers, Colonel Pat, Colonel Ted Tansey and West Point; his parent-in-law Admiral Mullan; his brother-in-law Chaplain; his father Tom Morrissey; and also, Stannye Tansey and William Evans Mullan. He is also survived by his father and mother.
