With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn F. Filer (Frostburg, Maryland), who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Brode (McGregor) and Carl F. Brode; her husband William A. Filer; her daughter Crystal Ogden; her granddaughter Lauren Filer; and her son-in-law Duane Helmick.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Helmick and William F. Filer (Anna); her grandchildren, David Ogden (Catrina), Brandi Mindyas (Ryan), Donavon Helmick (Ruth), Cagney Helmick, Mikayla Filer, Evan Filer and Catherine Filer; her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Caiden, Rose, William, Lauren, Lochlan and Rhys; and her cousin Karen Hook.
