With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Virginia Urbas (Frostburg, Maryland), who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Juanita Virginia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Madigan and Carrie Madigan (Hinebaugh); and her husband John Urbas. She is survived by: her son John Urbas (Deborah) of Meyersdale. She is also survived by one grandson, and two great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sowers Funeral Home (60 W Main St, Frostburg, MD 21532). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
