She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry A. Jackson and Bessie W. Jackson; her siblings, Henry Arthur Jackson, Jr., Oliver Wendell Jackson, Estelle Jackson Hollins and Juanita Jackson Giddens; her niece Carolyn Hollins Chatman; and her goddaughter Laura Wood.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Christian, Jr.; her son Michael David Christian (Belinda); her grandson Isaiah Christian; her daughter Freya Christian; her sisters, Addie Jackson Payne of Atlanta, GA and Patricia A. Jackson of Birmingham, AL; her goddaughter Marcia Baker (Vince) of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren, Kalia Baker of Gaithersburg, MD, Jordan Nathaniel Shepherd-Baker and Jeremiah Nicholas Shepherd-Baker of Philadelphia, PA; and her siblings' children, Jennifer Jackson Brooks of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Giddens Hunter (Forrest) of Carson, CA, LaRita Payne Dixon (Nathaddis) of Covington, GA, Alicia Payne of College Park, GA, Tori Jackson, Sylvia Christian James of Sumpter, SC, Juanita Murkey of Silver Spring, MD, Alfred Giddens, Jr. (Betty) of Lithonia, GA, A. Vincent Giddens (Gwendolyn) of Stone Mountain, GA and Harvey D. Giddens (Wendy) of Atlanta, GA.
