With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rhonda Austin of Gaithersburg, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rhonda left this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Rhonda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rhonda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie James Austin and Myrtis Austin; and her sisters, Glenis, Holly and Jacqueline.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harriet Austin-Stewart, Sandra Austin, James Austin, Kathy Austin and Keith Austin; and her niece Veronica Austin. She is also survived by cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snowden Funeral Home (246 N Washington St, Rockville, MD 20850). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
