She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilbert N. Shane, Sr. and Margaret Helen Smith Shane; her granddaughter Jessica Elise Maddox; and her brothers, Marvin Shane and Gilbert "Buddy" Shane, Jr..
She is survived by : her husband Walter L. Sirman of Seaford; her children, Gregory G. Cartwright, I (Aileen) of Greenwood, Christine L. Maddox (Christopher) of Seaford and Valerie L. Elswick (Gary) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Gregory G. Cartwright, II (Rachael), Adam S. Cartwright (Victoria), Margaret R. Cartwright, Christopher M. Maddox, II (Tabitha), Autumn L. Metz and Wyatt M. German; her great grandchildren, Abigail L. Porter, Daniel K. Cartwright and Shane T. Cartwright; and her sisters, Mary Jane Hastings of Greenwood and Frances Murphy of Bridgeville.
The funeral service will be private. Face coverings and social distancing will be in practice.
