It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Burke Mealy (Germantown, Maryland), who passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Vikki Morris-Mealy; his children, Jason Bartolomeo, Marisa Mealy (Rocco Nozik), Shaun Mealy, Jamin Bartolomeo and Sarah Mealy (Collin Dewitt); and his siblings, Hugh Mealy (Helen) and Michael O'Maille (Karen).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Wilderness Society would be appreciated.
