With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Messerschmidt Jr. of Glen Burnie, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. Messerschmidt Sr. and Catherine Thalheimer; and his sister Janis Hartman. He is survived by: his wife Paula Messerschmidt; his children, Charles G. Messerschmidt III (Sue), Karen Messerschmidt (Rob), Lorraine Messerschmidt (Jay), Tina Utz (Kurt) and Amy Meyers (Steve); and his brother Ronald Messerschmidt. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
