She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lednum and Louise Lednum (Collins); her husband Emory H. Hammell of Luke's Trading Post; and her daughter Mary Hammell. She is survived by: her son Edward Hammell; and her daughter-in-law Ruby Bjertness of Glen Burnie. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and her 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home (421 Crain Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
