He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Harvey and Nellie Grace Speicher (Hershberger); his wife Karolyn "Kay" Speicher (Beachy); his son Robert Craig Speicher; and his siblings, Billy, Charles "Bud" Speicher and Audra Hahn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna K. Speicher (Grantsville) and Kristina Brown (Speicher) of Somerset, PA; his grandchildren, Katherine Brown-Hofer (Brian), Lauren Brown and Douglas MacEwen Brown; and his great grandchild Carter Hofer.
