She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest F. Beachy and Grace Alberta Beachy (Kamp); her husband Arthur Sheffield; her son David; and her siblings, Bernice Merrill, Helen Bernhart, Dorothy Beachy, Ken Beachy and Robert Beachy.

She is survived by : her children, Joel Sheffield (R. Joanne) of Oakland, MD, Jeff Sheffield of Finzel, MD and Linda Handwerk; her grandchildren, Scott Durst, Angie Davis, Emma and Jeffrey Sheffield; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Davis and Justin Durst.
