He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Coulby and Dorothy Gertrude Turner Coulby. He is survived by: his wife Sharon W. Coulby of Greensboro; his children, David M. Coulby (Lori) of Highland, IL and Faith C. Bojan (Aaron) of Estes Park, CO; his siblings, Paul H. Coulby (Doris) of New Castle, DE and Esther Lednum of Easton, MD; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Phillip, Timothy, Joshua, Stephen, Cassidy and Brayden.
