He was predeceased by: his grandson Jacob Ryan Rash. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Knox Rash; his brother James Alfred Rash (Linda); and his children, John C. Rash, Jr. (Theresa), Nancy Mae Laird (Rick), Wayne David Rash (Diane) and Jason Scott Rash (Olga). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
