He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Raikes (Shaver); his wife Calantha Jean Raikes; and his siblings, Gerald, Donald, Robert, Beatrice and Genevieve.
He is survived by: his parent John Albert Raikes; his children, Charles M. Raikes, Martha Baumbach (Keith) and Gerald B. Raikes; his grandchildren, Brandon Raikes, Ashley Raikes, Jordon Raikes, Abigail Baumbach and Seth Baumbach; his great grandchildren, Carter, Braxton and Kyler; and his daughter-in-law Trish Raikes.
