She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Carbaugh; and her husband William C. Chatkin. She is survived by: her parent Helen Carbaugh; her children, Aaron Chatkin (Dawn) of Gastonia, N. C. and Elizabeth Scallion (Matt) of Maugansville; her grandchildren, Sarah Eby, Natalie, Keri and Jake Scallion; her brother Robert Carbaugh; and her son Chris of Clear Spring.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
