It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lewis (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Keedysville, Maryland, who passed away on August 4, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth Stottlemyer, Thomas Lewis, Robert Lewis and Clifton Lewis. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas L. Lewis, Sr. and Susan L. Lewis (Keets); his wife Janet Marie Lewis (Mong); his stepchildren, Ernest P. Reese, John E. Reese, Cynthia M. Summers and Janelle E. Cline; his siblings, Gerald Lewis and Evelyn Socks; and also Catherine Beachley. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in "Pic's" name to Harvest Life Ministries, 6371 Zittlestown Rd., Middletown, MD 21769.
