She was predeceased by: her parent William Denton Powell; her husband Charles M. Stape; and her siblings, Mary Valentino of Chevy Chase, MD, Helen Eslick of Cincinnati, OH, Margaret E. Varner, Elizabeth K. Powell, Robert E. Powell and Clarence K. Powell.
She is survived by: her parent Olive Matilda Hull Powell; her son David J. Stape; and her siblings, Nellie Lee Powell of Takoma Park, MD, Allan R. Powell, Hagerstown Powell and David F. Powell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
