He was predeceased by: his father Robert Moody. He is survived by: his child Jim; his wife Dawn (Motosicky); his children, Sean, Kiera, Liam, Bridget, Aidan and James; his mother Susan Moody (Wall); and his sisters, Carol Clark (Kevin), Debbie Fegley (Matt) and Patti McCay (Stephen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
