He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Maas and Mary Mitchell Maas; and his sister Mary "Betty" Vanderlyn. He is survived by: his wife Ann Maas; his children, Thomas John Maas (Vickie), Donald James Maas (Roberta) and Theresa Ann Maas (James); his grandsons, Christopher Maas (Emily), Nicholas Maas and Joseph Maas; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Brody, Ellie, Addie and Ian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
