With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Cumellia Flanary of Hagerstown, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Virginia Pearl Johnson (Shipe); her grandchildren, Skyler Hersh and Mary Goins; and her daughter-in-law Andrea Flanary.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Hardy, Michael Flanary (Anita), Stephen Flanary, Wanda Cassidy (Beau), Earl Flanary, Jr. (Lisa), Pamela Hersh (Joe) and James Flanary (Teresa). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
