She was predeceased by : her father Larry Stewart Heil, Sr.. She is survived by : her mother Dorothy Ellen Heil (Purdham); her husband Jack Brandenburg; her sons, Travis Kline (Mandy) and Dalton Kline (Kayla); her grandchildren, Waylon Kline and Alison Kline; her stepgrandson Vincent; her brothers, Larry Heil, Jr. (Alicia) and Chris Heil (Hannah); her nieces, Ashley McKee and Alyssa Heil; and her nephew Brantley Heil.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

“Dear Sweet Cousin Laura Sue's family: my heart goes out to each & everyone of you. Jack thank you for taking time to be home & be by her side constantly until she entered into the gates of heaven & for being a loving partner & husband. Dottie, you are a Special Mother. She loved you & was blessed to beloved by you. I know that she will be missed by many. I will miss my yearly date with her at tax time :-). I guess God needed a warrior & a ray of sunshine in heaven. Till we meet again :-)”
